so I was glad to get this in my email this morning regarding 2010 OSAP enhancements…

Because we have a dental plan.  But what if we are already covered by a dental plan and do not want to be covered by the school’s?  Well there is a simple online opt-out process, Shelly from Gallivan has sent us the details regarding it:

Good afternoon!

I am pleased to announce the Northern College 1-Time, On-line Opt Out is up and running for students to submit their on-line Health and Dental Optouts for September 1, 2010.  The on-line optout will end on the deadline of the optout which is Friday September 24th for the September start students.  The on-line optout will re-open again in January 2011 for brand new January start students only, and will be active until the last Friday in January, which is the optout deadline.

Do you see this little guy?  Ya, ya I know she’s cuter than me in a bow tie covered in sparkles chocolate sauce, I know.  But did you know it pees and poops?  Yup, daily, and you have to clean it up.  Well this little puppy was out seeking freedom from it’s human keepers and made it very far (3 doors down) before it was met by the NCSA’s own Manny Scott.  Being  the good ‘Dog Napper‘ ‘Samaritan’ that Manny is, he spent almost an hour trying to locate it’s owners, even posting a picture on facebook asking if anyone knew who the owners were.  Because of Manny’s efforts little Callie made it home in time for bed.  Manny Scott, dog lovers everywhere thank-you!
